Not into Photoshop? Try Piktochart.

Rob Winters Blog

Most of us don’t have a talent for creating graphics, especially when it comes to Photoshop and similar programs. They require an immense amount of knowledge and practice. Even with training many of the features can still boggle the mind. The rest of us need easy online tools like Piktochart!

PiktochartPiktochart has a free and paid version, I recommend upgrading to a paid account if you’re a serious user. You get access to over sixty different templates from which you can pick and choose. Each template can be edited from top to bottom, or you can follow in my footsteps and edit pieces and use the graphics for different projects versus generating an entire infographic. It’s great for spicing up an email, Facebook page or a PowerPoint.

The editor tool allows you to pick from several color pallets within each template. Drag and drop built in shapes, images and text; or you can upload your own photos and images. The reason I like this tool is because you start with an amazing base and it allows you to really focus on your content rather than layout and style, that part is provided and takes a major weight off your shoulders.

The following is a graphic I recently created for an email campaign. Piktochart allowed me to create a visually appealing way of sharing the impact of Peer-to-Peer fundraising with email.

This is just one more great tool to have at your disposal when putting together your next online campaign. Happy editing!
